HR CONCLAVE 2020
Army Institute of Management & Technology
The COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic is becoming the accelerator for one of the greatest workplace transformations of our lifetime. How we work, exercise, shop, learn, communicate, and of course, where we work, will be changed forever! The acronym VUCA, meaning volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity, was coined in the 1990s by the military to describe the ever-shifting Geo-political landscape in which it had to operate. VUCA now describes the environment that business leaders face in the war against the COVID-19 pandemic.
COVID-19 has caused significant disruption to the workplace. First up, there will be a focus on hygiene. Organizations have already started putting rules and regulations in place for that. Secondly, we are witnessing a lot of open-mindedness about working from home or remote locations. In the long run, there is going to be a combination of Work from home (WFH) and working at a place where people can physically come together.
The larger question is how this massive transformation will impact the workplace, teams, and organizations. So, with this theme, Army Institute of Management & Technology (AIMT), Greater Noida is organizing HR Conclave 2020.
